ISOM Students Shine in first International Business Analytics (IBA) Challenge Case Competition

A team of ISOM UG students won the first International Business Analytics (IBA) Challenge Case Competition in Montréal. During the competition of two rounds for about two months, our team was selected to represent HKUST to enter the final round at HEC Montréal and won the Grand prize. There are 25 teams of students enrolled in bachelors or masters program from the world's top universities participated in the final.

IS Students Shine in ISACA Case Competition 2017

Two teams of IS UG students won the champion and second runners-up titles in the ISACA Case Competition 2017, themed “Cyber Security”. The competition is a part of IT Fest 2017. There are a total of 78 participated teams from local universities.

BBA-IS student, Benjamin HUBER, has earned the highest score in the world on the June 2014 CISA examination 


Benjamin Huber, an HKUST Information Systems undergraduate, scored the world’s highest mark on the internationally recognized Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) exam, a credential often required of professionals in IT security management.
