Structure and Research Streams of our Department
We prepare students for teaching and/or research carer in universities, research institutes, governments, and business organizations.
Under School of Business and Management, the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management (ISOM) consists of two divisions itself: Information Systems and Operations Management. We, the division of Operations Management, emphasize on two research streams: Operations Management and Statistics. Click here for various research interests in these two streams.
Who can apply
Applicants for admission to PhD programs must possess a first degree from a recognized or an approved institution, in addition to satisfactory results on Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). We prefer, but not strictly require, applicants with a good quantitative background, such as, Operations Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering and other related disciplines.

Studentship will be available to qualified students, based on academic merit.
