Program-based Admission

Prospective students who realize their strong interest in RMBI may consider applying for direct admission to RMBI program via the following pathways:

Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS):
RMBI admits the suitable local mainstream secondary students based on the HKDSE results.

Non-JUPAS Applications:
Local students holding HKALE results, international qualifications, local sub-degree and post-secondary or other qualifications may submit applications through HKUST Online Application System.

Entry Requirements

Apply via JUPAS
Applicants with results in HKDSE have to satisfy both the General Requirements and RMBI Program Requirements.

The University requires
4C + 2X (four core subjects plus two electives)
4C + M1/M2 + 1X (four core subjects with Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2 plus one elective)

Subjects listed above refer to Category A subjects unless otherwise specified.
Best other subjects may include Core subjects, Category A electives and M1/M2.

Interview is required for admission. The interview performance will be incorporated to the final admission score.
