The Advisory Board for Information Systems Programs ("the Board") has been formed earlier to seek advice from the industry to update the curriculum and support activities for the BBA (IS), MScISM, and the upcoming MScICSM programs.  The Board comprised of 10 high-level executives from technology and accounting firms including Google Hong Kong, LinkedIn, WeLab, HKAI Lab, Deloitte and KPMG, etc (see the Board’s formation here).

The Board’s first meeting was held on 18 November 2024 on campus, it started with a welcome speech by Acting Dean Hui, who founded the Board earlier this year when he was the Head of the Department of ISOM.  Professor Frank Yam, founder and CEO of the Focus Strategic Group Limited, was appointed as the Chairperson.  The invaluable insight offered by the members are appreciated by our faculty for improving the learning experience and quality of their respective programs.
